Your email address
Used to log you in and, if needed, to send you account-related messages (like a magic link to sign in). We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with third parties. Full stop.
Your trucking data
Every load, fuel stop, expense, maintenance log, and per diem day you enter is stored securely in your account so you can access it from any device. This data is yours — we use it only to display your reports and summaries. It is never shared, sold, or used for any purpose other than running OOProfit for you.
Google sign-in (if used)
If you sign in with Google, we receive your verified email address and name from Google. We use the email to find or create your account. We do not receive your Google password, and we do not post anything to Google on your behalf.
Session cookie
When you log in, we set a single session cookie to keep you logged in. It contains only a random session ID — no personal information. It expires after 90 days or when you log out.
Anonymous analytics
We use Google Analytics on marketing pages to understand how visitors find us (e.g., which pages they land on, which country they're from). This data is anonymous and aggregated. It does not track your activity inside the app.
Location — only if you opt in
If you turn on "Help automate my per diem deduction" in Settings, we read your device location while the app is open to recognize the days you're away from home overnight. We store one coarse location point per day, used only to suggest per diem entries for your own tax records — never sold or shared. You confirm every entry, and you can turn it off anytime by unchecking the box.
All billing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor used by millions of businesses worldwide. When you enter your card number, it goes directly to Stripe's servers — it never passes through OOProfit's servers, and we never store it.
What we do store: your Stripe customer ID (a reference number like cus_abc123) so we can look up your subscription status. That's it.

Nobody, except the infrastructure providers we need to run the service:
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with data brokers, advertisers, or anyone else.
Export: Go to Settings → Export My Data to download a full copy of everything you've entered, in CSV format, any time.
Delete: If you want your account and all data permanently deleted, email us at @components.EmailLink("t-accent hover:opacity-80 transition-opacity") and we'll take care of it within 30 days.
Cancellation: Canceling your subscription stops future charges. Your data stays in our system for 90 days so you can resubscribe and pick up where you left off, then is permanently deleted.
If we ever make a material change to how we handle your data, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, if the change is significant, we'll notify you by email. The current version always lives at ooprofit.com/privacy.
